KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is set to convene today at 1:00 pm at Singha Durbar, with the agenda including the presentation of four separate bills.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will also feature oral questions related to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment, which will be answered by the respective ministers.
During the session, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is expected to table the Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083.
Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will introduce the Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083.
Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav is also scheduled to present the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 2083.
In addition, Minister Gautam, representing Prime Minister Balendra Shah, will table a proposal seeking consideration of the Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Facilities of Officials of Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment) Bill, 2083.
She is also expected to present, on behalf of the prime minister, a proposal to pass the Bill to Restore the Previous Provisions of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 (2083) together with the report of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee.
