KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is scheduled to convene today at 1:00 PM.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat said the proposed agenda includes oral questions concerning the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and General Administration, with the respective ministers expected to respond.
Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam is set to table a proposal seeking the government’s approval for Nepal to join the Council of Asian Legislative Institutions, accompanied by a formal declaration on behalf of the Government of Nepal.
Meanwhile, several parliamentary committees are also scheduled to hold meetings today, including the International Relations and Tourism Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, Legislative Management Committee, and Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee.
