KATHMANDU: The Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (Ican) Jhapa chapter has donated Rs 1 million to support flood victims in Rasuwa.
The funds were collected from the association’s members and officials through the initiative of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee. The money has been deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
According to Ican Jhapa Vice President Ashok Bhandari, the cheque was handed over jointly to Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki, Jhapa Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Pokharel, and Jhapa District Police Office Chief Superintendent of Police Basundhara Khadka.
