KATHMANDU: The Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki has issued directives to police officials across the country on contemporary issues and matters requiring attention, according to Nepal Police.
Karki addressed office chiefs through a virtual conference attended by departmental chiefs and heads of various police units. The participants included officials from the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, provincial police offices, Nepal Police provincial offices, training centers, district police offices and highway and traffic security management offices.
Chiefs of police ranges and units, district traffic police offices and other offices headed by police inspectors also participated in the conference.
The meeting brought together officials from different levels of the police organization to communicate instructions on current issues. However, Nepal Police did not disclose the specific directives issued during the conference in its public statement.
