KATHMANDU: The Indian government has sent a second consignment of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief supplies to flood victims in Rasuwa.
Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a social media post this morning that 37.5 tonnes of relief materials had been sent to Nepal.
“India is in regular contact with Nepali authorities and remains committed to supporting disaster relief efforts,” Jaishankar said.
India had earlier sent 10 tonnes of relief supplies to Rasuwa on Wednesday night.
The assistance includes humanitarian aid, disaster relief materials, food and essential medicines for people affected by the floods.
