KATHMANDU: Nepal has received the fourth tranche of relief supplies from neighbouring India, along with technical teams deployed to support search, rescue and forensic operations.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs said the latest consignment was handed over to the Government of Nepal on Sunday morning.
According to the ministry, the relief supplies include blankets, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, plastic sheets and sanitation materials.
Along with the relief supplies, India has also sent a tunnel engineering team equipped with specialised search-and-rescue equipment, as well as a team of forensic experts to assist with DNA testing.
