KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment has invited applications for 1,464 Nepali workers to serve as nursing assistants in long-term care centers in Israel, following a bilateral labor agreement between the two nations. The department issued a notice on Tuesday confirming the recruitment drive.
The vacancy includes positions for 1,132 women and 332 men. Successful candidates will receive a minimum monthly salary of 5,881 Israeli New Shekels. Applicants must be between 25 and 45 years old, with a minimum height of 1.5 meters and a weight of at least 45 kilograms.
Regarding educational requirements, candidates must have completed at least 10th grade and finished a 15-month ANM or CMA course, or completed 10+2 education along with a minimum three-month caregiver training from a recognized institution.
Interested individuals must submit their applications through the department’s online portal within 21 days of the notice publication. Only those who have not previously worked in Israel and do not have immediate family members currently employed there are eligible to apply. Applicants will undergo an English language test, and the final selection will be conducted by Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) through a lottery system.
