BIRATNAGAR: Koshi Province Police Chief Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Shekhar Khanal inspected the District Police Office, Morang, on Sunday, reviewing its operations, branches and detention facilities.

During the inspection, Khanal directed police personnel to strengthen crime prevention and control, maintain peace and security, and provide citizen-friendly policing. He also emphasized professional conduct, cooperation, discipline and the proper exercise of their duties, responsibilities and authority, while keeping the organization’s interests and objectives as a priority.

Morang District Police Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) Kabita Katuwal briefed Khanal and the visiting team on the district’s overall security situation, as well as measures being taken for crime prevention, control and investigation.

Khanal also urged personnel to work with a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect while improving their conduct and service delivery to the public.
