Koshi Province police chief interacts with Morang residents, retired officers

BIRATNAGAR: Koshi Province Police Chief Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Shekhar Khanal held an interaction with local residents and retired police personnel during his inspection visit to the District Police Office, Morang.

During the interaction, participants shared their views and suggestions on maintaining law and order, traffic management, crime control, police service delivery and improving relations between police and the community.

Khanal said such interactions would help strengthen cooperation between the police and local communities while allowing police authorities to better understand citizens’ concerns and expectations.

He said Koshi Province Police would continue working in coordination with local residents and retired police personnel to maintain peace and security across the province.

Morang District Police Office Superintendent of Police Kabita Katuwal, Koshi Province Police Office Superintendent of Police Narayan Prasad Chimariya and other police officers were present at the programme.
