KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has instructed party leaders and cadres to focus on the upcoming local and provincial elections, saying they will pave the way for the party’s future success.
Speaking at a party induction program in Kathmandu, Ghising claimed that Ujyalo Nepal had emerged as the country’s next political alternative.
“We should concentrate on the local and provincial elections first, and then focus on the federal elections. The performance of this government over the past four months has already shown that it will not last five years. We do not have to wait for another five years. This party is now the strong alternative,” he said.
Ghising said the Ujyalo Nepal Party would establish a strong presence across the country, particularly in Bagmati Province. He expressed confidence that the party would lead the Bagmati provincial government after the next elections.
He also argued that despite losing the election, the Ujyalo Nepal Party had achieved a political victory. Ghising instructed party leaders and workers to prioritize organizational expansion and membership drives, while urging leaders and supporters from other political parties to join Ujyalo Nepal as what he described as the country’s next viable alternative.
