KASKI: The Pokhara-Sikles road has been obstructed by a landslide triggered by continuous rainfall since Friday night.
The incident occurred in the Padukhola area of Madi rural municipality-1, specifically between Khilang and Parche.
Devijung Gurung, the Ward chair of Madi-1, reported that the landslide not only blocked the road to the tourist village of Sikles but also damaged the railing and slope constructed by the Madi Rural Municipality.
Efforts are currently underway to coordinate with relevant agencies to clear the landslide and restore access to the road.
