KATHMANDU: The Flood Forecasting Division has warned of a significant rise in major rivers—including the Koshi, Narayani, Karnali, and Mahakali—over the next three days (Wednesday to Friday).
Although current levels in the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli remain below alert thresholds, high risk is predicted for the Trishuli and Betrawati today and tomorrow.
Flash flood warnings have been issued for small rivers across 24 districts, including Kathmandu, Sindhupalchok, Dhading, and Chitwan.
Coastal and riverbank residents are advised to exercise high vigilance and avoid risk zones.
