KATHMANDU: Moderate rainfall is likely today in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading—districts heavily impacted by the Bhote Koshi flood.
Sanjeev Adhikari, a meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, stated that while the chance of heavy rainfall during the day remains low, moderate showers are expected.
“There is a possibility of moderate rain in these districts this afternoon, but the likelihood of heavy rain is low. However, isolated heavy rainfall cannot be ruled out at one or two locations tonight,” he said.
According to Adhikari, because the monsoon is currently active over the central and western regions, significant weather improvement is unlikely over the next three days.
