NA members put forth views on various issues

KATHMANDU: National Assembly members have drawn attention of the government on contemporary issues.

During the special hour of today’s NA meeting, Nara Bahadur Bista drew government’s attention towards delay in operation of drinking water project of Karnali Province.

Similarly, Somnath Portel shared that eight per cent more youths have gone for overseas employment in the month of Saun this year as compared to corresponding period of previous year.

Likewise, Chandra Bahadur KC asked the government to make public the report of a committee formed to study the incident occurred on September 8 and 9, 2025.

Stating that there are more than 500 Rohingyas in Nepal, he demanded the government to resolve the problem as number of Tibetan refugees has reportedly increased at monasteries.
