KATHMANDU: The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is concluding today at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu after attracting a large number of visitors during its six-day run.
More than 150,000 visitors had attended the expo by the end of its fifth day, surpassing the organisers’ projected attendance for the entire event. Another 42,000 visitors have been recorded on the final day, indicating strong public interest in the exhibition.
The expo has brought together more than 55 vehicle brands and showcased numerous new models, including 53 vehicles launched during the event.
Visitors have shown keen interest in various aspects of the vehicles, particularly battery capacity, motor specifications, driving range, after-sales services, battery warranties and resale value.
With a focus on electric vehicles, e-scooters and electric commercial vehicles, the expo seeks to promote sustainable and technology-driven mobility in Nepal. Several of the models displayed at the event are being introduced to the Nepali market for the first time.
The participation of domestic and international manufacturers has also underscored the growing significance of the expo for Nepal’s mobility and automobile sector.
