KATHMANDU: Ncell has installed a new mobile tower in Marma Rural Municipality of Darchula district in Sudurpaschim Province, officially launching 4G and other telecommunication services in the area.
The activation of the tower has provided immediate benefits to local residents in the Lattinath region.
Lena Keshari Kansakar, head of network at Ncell, stated that the expansion demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to providing services from accessible urban areas to remote regions.
‘With the installation and operation of this tower, we have been able to further increase the reach of 4G services, providing benefits to both locals and tourists,’ Kansakar said. ‘This is clear evidence that we are always committed to providing services to all consumers, from accessible areas to remote ones.’
The company expects that the new infrastructure will improve communication access for residents in the remote Himalayan region. Additionally, the enhanced connectivity is expected to support the promotion of tourism in the area.
