Party spokesperson Prakash Jwala confirmed that the campaign will be officially inaugurated at a press conference held at the party’s central office in Parisdanda at 2:30 pm.
The inaugural event is scheduled to be addressed by coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal.
The decision to run the campaign from Oct. 23 to Dec. 11 was made during a central coordination committee meeting held on Oct. 9.
In addition to the campaign, the party has decided to conduct ward and municipal-level conventions ahead of the upcoming local level elections.
The party has prioritized issues including the protection of national sovereignty, democracy, civil rights, good governance, and public livelihood.
According to Jwala, the campaign will focus on completing the integration of party committees and mass organizations, as well as accelerating membership renewal and organizational strengthening.
The campaign includes various creative and cultural programs aimed at deepening the connection between the party and the public.
Furthermore, the party plans to collect public grievances regarding inflation, corruption, unemployment, and insecurity to submit memorandums to relevant authorities, including the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and Chief District Officers.
The initiative also focuses on relief and rehabilitation efforts in disaster-affected areas alongside labor and public service programs.
