KATHMANDU: The Nepal ‘A’ men’s cricket team is set to face off against the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) in the exciting Top End T20 Series happening in Australia today.
The match kicks off at 3:15 PM at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin. After securing a victory by 39 runs against the Hobart Hurricanes Academy, the Nepalese squad is eager to grab their second win.
However, they faced setbacks in their first two matches, losing to the Northern Territory Strike by eight wickets and to Bangladesh Hyper Performance-11 by nine wickets.
Meanwhile, the ACT team is still on the hunt for their first win, having lost all three of their games so far. With their semi-final hopes hanging in the balance, Nepal is feeling the pressure to clinch a win today, currently sitting in seventh place with just two points.
The squad features Captain Anil Kumar Shah, along with players like Kushal Bhurtel, Pawan Saraf, Kushal Malla, and Mayan Yadav.
They are joined by Deepak Dumre, Lokesh Bam, Shahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Akash Chand, Rizwan Dhakal, Narayan Joshi, Bipin Khatri, Tritraj Das, and Yuvraj Khatri for this edition of the Top End T20 Series.
