KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has rescued more than 300 people affected by a landslide in the Risang area of Bheri Municipality–2 in Jajarkot.
According to the Directorate of Military Public Relations and Information, a team deployed from Bhawanidal Battalion for search and rescue operations rescued the affected people today in coordination with other security agencies and local residents and moved them to a safe location.
The directorate said the army team also rescued eight people injured in the landslide and recovered four bodies.
