KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that its depots will remain operational during the Tihar public holidays to ensure a smooth supply of petroleum products. The decision aims to prevent fuel shortages for consumers during the festive period.
According to NOC spokesperson Manoj Kumar Thakur, provincial offices and depots in Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Thankot, Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, Nepalgunj, Dang, Janakpur, Charali, Birgunj, and Dipayal will remain open based on local requirements. The corporation stated that this measure has been taken to prioritize consumer convenience and maintain the continuity of fuel distribution services during the holidays.
