Nepal Rastra Bank announces today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today, with the US dollar fixed at Rs 152.59 for buying and Rs 153.19 for selling.

The euro has been set at Rs 176.96 for buying and Rs 177.65 for selling, while the UK pound sterling stands at Rs 206.18 and Rs 206.99, respectively. The Swiss franc is trading at a buying rate of Rs 187.34 and a selling rate of Rs 188.08.

The central bank has fixed the Australian dollar at Rs 109.41 for buying and Rs 109.84 for selling. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 110.19 and Rs 110.62, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 120.35 for buying and Rs 120.83 for selling.

For the Japanese yen, 10 yen have been valued at Rs 9.90 for buying and Rs 9.94 for selling. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.75 for buying and Rs 22.84 for selling. Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.63 for buying and Rs 40.79 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs 41.86 and Rs 42.02, respectively.

The buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.62, with a selling rate of Rs 4.64. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.55 for buying and Rs 41.71 for selling. Similarly, the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.49 and Rs 37.63, while the South Korean won is set at Rs 11.37 for buying and Rs 11.41 for selling.

The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.75 for buying and Rs 15.81 for selling. The Danish krone, meanwhile, stands at Rs 23.67 for buying and Rs 23.77 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 19.46 and a selling rate of Rs 19.53. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 497.60 for buying and Rs 499.56 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 404.72 and Rs 406.11, respectively. The Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 396.33 for buying and Rs 397.89 for selling.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160 for both buying and selling. Nepal Rastra Bank noted that the rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions and other requirements. Rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest official exchange rates can be obtained from the central bank’s website.
