Nepal Rastra Bank publishes foreign exchange rates for today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today, with the buying rate of the US dollar (USD) set at Rs 152.84 and the selling rate at Rs 153.44.

The euro (EUR) has been fixed at Rs 178.91 for buying and Rs 179.61 for selling. Similarly, the British pound sterling stands at Rs 208.55 and Rs 209.37, while the Swiss franc is set at Rs 192.06 and Rs 192.81 for buying and selling, respectively.

The buying and selling rates for the Australian dollar are Rs 108.93 and Rs 109.36, respectively. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 111.02 and Rs 111.46, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 120.29 and Rs 120.77.

For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen have been set at Rs 9.65 for buying and Rs 9.69 for selling. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.74 and Rs 22.83, while the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.71 and Rs 40.87. The Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.93 and Rs 42.10.

The Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.65 and a selling rate of Rs 4.67. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 41.61 and Rs 41.78, while the Malaysian ringgit (MYR) is fixed at Rs 37.79 and Rs 37.94.

The rate for 100 South Korean won has been set at Rs 10.97 for buying and Rs 11.01 for selling. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 16.17 and Rs 16.24, while the Danish krone is fixed at Rs 23.93 and Rs 24.03.

Among other currencies, the Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 19.49 for buying and Rs 19.56 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 498.26 and Rs 500.21, while the Bahraini dinar (BHD) is fixed at Rs 405.40 and Rs 406.99. The Omani rial (OMR) has a buying rate of Rs 397.00 and a selling rate of Rs 398.56.

The buying and selling rates for 100 Indian rupees (INR) have both been fixed at Rs 160.

NRB has stated that the published exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates, and updated rates can be obtained from NRB’s official website.
