Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign currency exchange rates for today (Monday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.04, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 152.64.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 175.74 and the selling rate at Rs 176.43. One UK pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 205.13 and a selling rate of Rs 205.94, while one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 188.16 for buying and Rs 188.90 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 107.46 and the selling rate is Rs 107.89. One Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.06 for buying and Rs 109.49 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is valued at Rs 118.93 for buying and Rs 119.40 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.63 and the selling rate at Rs 9.67. One Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.53 and a selling rate of Rs 22.62. One Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.49 for buying and Rs 40.65 for selling, while one Qatari riyal is valued at Rs 41.74 for buying and Rs 41.90 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate of one Thai baht at Rs 4.60 and the selling rate at Rs 4.62. One UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.39 and a selling rate of Rs 41.56. One Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.16 for buying and Rs 37.31 for selling. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.80 and the selling rate is Rs 10.84. One Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 16.05 and a selling rate of Rs 16.11, while one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.51 for buying and Rs 23.60 for selling.

The central bank has further set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.38 and the selling rate at Rs 19.46. One Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 495.08 for buying and Rs 497.04 for selling. One Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 403.24 and a selling rate of Rs 404.83, while one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 394.89 for buying and Rs 396.45 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised whenever necessary. It also noted that rates offered by commercial banks may vary and that the latest official rates are available on the central bank’s website.
