KATHMANDU: Nepal suffered their third consecutive defeat in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship after going down 3-0 to hosts Pakistan in Islamabad on Friday.

Playing at the Garrison Jinnah Sports Complex, Nepal were outclassed in straight sets, losing 25-14, 25-18 and 25-10.

Pakistan maintained their perfect record with three wins from three matches to sit atop the standings with nine points.

Despite three successive defeats, Nepal have collected two points after taking their opening two matches to five sets. They first lost 3-2 to Kazakhstan before suffering another 3-2 defeat against Sri Lanka. Friday’s loss to Pakistan marked Nepal’s third setback of the tournament.
