KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom earned a net profit of Rs 8.86 billion by the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025/26 (mid-July 2026).
According to the unverified financial report released by the company, net profit grew by 47.58 percent compared to the Rs 6.00 billion earned during the same period of the previous fiscal year 2024/25, marking an impressive single-year increase of Rs 2.85 billion.
The telecom operator recorded strong growth across all key financial indicators during fiscal year 2025/26.
Profit before tax reached Rs 13.26 billion, reflecting a 34.66 percent rise from Rs 9.85 billion in fiscal year 2024/25, while EBITDA climbed to Rs 20.48 billion from Rs 18.49 billion.
Total operating revenue grew by 3.12 percent (Rs 1.05 billion) to Rs 34.95 billion, pushing the company’s total income up to Rs 39.19 billion from Rs 38.18 billion in the previous year.
Nepal Telecom’s annualized Earnings Per Share (EPS) currently stands at Rs 49.25.
