KATHMANDU: The Nepal Tourism Board has called for applications for the position of chief executive officer.
The board issued a notice on Sept. 11, inviting qualified candidates to apply for the post in accordance with the Nepal Tourism Board Act, 2053.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications along with necessary documents within 10 days from the date of the notice. If the final day falls on a public holiday, applications will be accepted on the next working day.
Candidates must be Nepali citizens, meet the required experience criteria, and not be disqualified under prevailing laws.
Applicants must submit a strategic action plan for enhancing the board’s effectiveness, not exceeding 3,000 words, and a report on their significant professional achievements, not exceeding 1,000 words. Additionally, candidates must provide a self-declaration form as per the selection procedure and a departmental approval letter if currently employed in a public institution.
The application fee is Rs 15,000, which must be deposited into the board’s account at Nabil Bank, Tindhara branch. Applications can be submitted to the CEO Secretariat at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, or via email.
Candidates applying via email must provide the bank voucher and verified copies of documents during the presentation phase.
