KATHMANDU: The Greater New York Nepali Chamber of Commerce has officially announced the Nepali-American Business and Investment Summit (NEBIS) 2026, aimed at strengthening trade, investment, entrepreneurship, innovation and economic cooperation between Nepal and the United States.

The three-day summit will be held from September 25 to 27 at the JFK Marriott Hotel in New York, bringing together government representatives, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers and members of the Nepali diaspora from both countries.

Announcing the summit, Chamber President Pradeep Shrestha said NEBIS is more than a business conference, describing it as a shared initiative to deepen Nepal-US economic ties. He said the event seeks to connect the knowledge, experience, capital and global networks of successful Nepali-origin entrepreneurs, investors, technology experts and professionals in the United States with Nepal’s economic development.

The summit will feature discussions on Nepal’s investment opportunities, international trade, cross-border capital partnerships, technology and AI-driven innovation, and strategies to help local businesses expand into global markets.

Organizers also launched the official NEBIS 2026 website and opened participant registration. Applications are now being accepted for the Startup Showcase and Product Launch, while sponsorship, exhibition and strategic partnership opportunities are also available.
