KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index rose by 7.17 points on Thursday to close at 2,629.40, alongside increases in the Sensitive, Float, and Sensitive Float indices.
Market activity recorded a total turnover of Rs 4.40 billion from 9,500,766 shares traded across 132 advancing and 132 declining companies, while 13 companies remained unchanged.
Among the 13 sub-groups, 6 gained and 7 declined, with Sarbottam Cement, Mount Everest Power Development Company, and NIC Asia Select Fund leading the gainers, whereas Kumari Dhanabriddhi Yojana, Kumari Equity Fund, and Khanikhola Hydropower Company emerged as the top losers.
