BHAKTAPUR: Chairperson of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Narayan Man Bijukchhe, has laid emphasis that the new generation should take responsibility for the preservation of historical heritages.
Inaugurating the newly constructed temple house at Khauma today, he pointed out the need of intergenerational transfer in heritages conservation.
Chairperson Bijukchhe opined that the youths should show interest in study and research of heritages, arts and cultures of Bhaktapur.
Similarly, Mayor of Bhaktapur municipality, Sunil Prajapati, said the municipality has forwarded reconstruction and renovation of earthquake damaged heritages with priority.
Sharing that the municipality has preserved 185 heritages, he mentioned that efforts for the conservation of historical heritages including temples, phalcha, stone spout has been continued.
