Norvic to distribute 42.105% dividend

KATHMANDU: Norvic International Hospital and Medical College Ltd. has decided to distribute a 42.105% dividend to its shareholders from its profits for the fiscal year 2025/26.

The hospital’s sixth annual general meeting, held on Friday, September 12, approved a 20% bonus share and a 22.105% cash dividend, including the amount required for tax purposes.

The AGM also approved the issuance of shares equivalent to 20% of the company’s paid-up capital, after the bonus share distribution, to the general public through the book-building process.

The meeting authorised the board of directors to undertake the necessary procedures, including approval of the prospectus to be distributed to institutional investors as part of the book-building process.

According to the hospital’s annual report, Norvic recorded total revenue of more than Rs 2.83 billion and total expenses of Rs 2.36 billion in fiscal 2025/26, excluding its pharmacy business. Net profit stood at more than Rs 470 million.

Including its pharmacy business, the hospital reported total revenue of more than Rs 3.47 billion, total expenses of Rs 2.99 billion and net profit of more than Rs 478.5 million.

The report said Norvic provided outpatient services to around 179,000 patients, inpatient services to 9,000 patients and emergency services to 6,000 patients during the fiscal year.

The hospital also provided immigration health screening services to around 41,000 people for Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
