KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today. The central bank has fixed the US dollar at Rs 152.82 for buying and Rs 153.42 for selling.
The euro has been set at Rs 178.50 for buying and Rs 179.20 for selling. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 208.41, while the selling rate is Rs 209.23. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 190.79 and a selling rate of Rs 191.54.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 109.66 and a selling rate of Rs 110.09. The Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 111.01 for buying and Rs 111.44 for selling, while the Singapore dollar has been set at Rs 120.36 and Rs 120.84 for buying and selling, respectively.
Among other major currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at Rs 9.61 for buying and Rs 9.65 for selling. One Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.74 and a selling rate of Rs 22.83. The Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs 40.70 for buying and Rs 40.86 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.93 for buying and Rs 42.09 for selling.
The central bank has set the Thai baht at Rs 4.67 for buying and Rs 4.69 for selling. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.61 and a selling rate of Rs 41.77, while the Malaysian ringgit is fixed at Rs 37.84 and Rs 37.99, respectively.
For the South Korean won, the buying rate for 100 won is Rs 11.03 and the selling rate is Rs 11.07. The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 16.14 for buying and Rs 16.21 for selling. Similarly, the Danish krone is valued at Rs 23.88 for buying and Rs 23.97 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 19.49 for buying and Rs 19.57 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is fixed at Rs 498.19 for buying and Rs 500.15 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 405.36 and Rs 406.95, respectively, and the Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 396.95 and a selling rate of Rs 398.51.
