KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav has stated that an online tracking system is being developed to make the supply status, distribution, and transportation of gas transparent and effective.
Speaking at a discussion program on food supply organized today by the Industry, Commerce, Labor, and Consumer Interest Protection Committee, Minister Yadav shared that details of gas distribution are currently being published by filling out Google Forms.
Minister Gauri Kumari also stated that food items will be sold and distributed through food stalls in Singha Durbar starting August 13.
Nagendra Sah, Managing Director of Nepal Oil Corporation, claimed that smooth supply of gas would be restored within a week. Sah stated that 134 gas bullets entered the country on Tuesday alone and claimed that 3.4 million gas cylinders had been imported up to August 11.
