Oppo launches Reno 16 series smartphones in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Oppo has officially launched its new Reno 16 series smartphones in the Nepali market.

The company introduced the Reno 16 and Reno 16 F models during a fashion show event. Miss Nepal World 2022 Priyanka Rani Joshi, GadgetByte Nepal CEO Pratima Adhikari, and motovlogger Surakshya KC attended the event to share their insights and experiences with the new devices.

The Reno 16 series features Oppo’s 3D Pop Planet design. The Reno 16 is equipped with a 6.32-inch display, while the Reno 16 F features a 6.57-inch screen.

Both models include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view and a triple rear camera setup with optical image stabilization. Running on ColorOS 16, the devices offer features such as AI Snap Key and AI Mind Space.

In terms of battery, the Reno 16 houses a 6,700 mAh battery, and the Reno 16 F comes with a 7,000 mAh battery, both supporting 80W fast charging. The Reno 16 5G is priced at Rs 109,999, while the Reno 16 F 5G is priced at Rs 89,999. The company announced that the first 500 customers will receive Oppo AirBuds A3 Pro for free with their purchase.

Alongside the smartphones, Oppo introduced the Oppo Bubble, a magnetic accessory that functions as a camera preview screen and remote shutter. It also allows users to display personalized content. While the retail price of the accessory is Rs 15,999, it will be available for Rs 9,999 during the promotional period.
