KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah has called a Cabinet meeting for 3:00 PM today at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
The meeting is set to discuss contemporary national issues, with a primary focus on scaling up response efforts following the catastrophic August 26 Bhote Koshi flash flood in Rasuwa.
The government has been engaged in search, rescue, medical treatment, relief distribution, and rehabilitation operations in the affected region.
Today’s session is called to introduce key decisions aimed at enhancing the speed and effectiveness of flood relief and recovery operations across the affected districts.
