KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) shared an emotional message on social media late Friday night, hours after lawmakers from his own party, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), publicly criticized the government in Parliament.

In a Facebook post made at 11:06 pm, Shah said that the right time would take time to arrive and suggested that reality could be different from what people have heard or witnessed.

Appealing to the public not to panic, the Prime Minister said that there are moments when a person has to struggle alone.

“The right time takes time to arrive. It may come late, but that does not make it wrong. Do not panic. Reality may be different from what you have heard and seen,” he wrote. “Sometimes you have to fight alone. This is not the first time.”

The post came on the same day that RSP lawmaker Manish Jha criticized the government during a House of Representatives meeting, arguing that it had failed to effectively manage state affairs.
