KATHMANDU: Leader of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Barshaman Pun, held a meeting with Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
During the meeting held today at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, the two leaders discussed matters concerning the Rasuwa flood, as well as ongoing search, rescue, medical treatment, and relief distribution efforts, according to Deepa Dahal, Press and Research Advisor to the Prime Minister.
They also discussed plans for restoring and operationalizing infrastructure damaged by the flood. Prior to this, Chairman of the Ujyaalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, also met with Prime Minister Shah, where discussions similarly focused on search, rescue, and relief operations underway in the flood-affected areas.
