KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to receive tika, jamara and blessings from priests on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami on Wednesday.
The ceremony will take place at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas, at the auspicious time of 10:26 am, according to the President’s press advisor, Kiran Pokharel.
In previous years, the President traditionally offered tika to members of the public during the festival. However, since last year, the program for the public has not been organized due to the challenging circumstances facing the country and the lack of a peaceful and celebratory environment.
