KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to return to Nepal today.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the prime minister is expected to land at Tribhuvan International Airport at 3:45 p.m.
Prime Minister Shah had led the Nepali delegation to New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. He departed for the United States on Sept. 22.
According to Deepak Raj Niraula, a protocol officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a press briefing has been scheduled at the airport’s VIP lounge following the prime minister’s arrival.
Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, will conduct the briefing.
