KATHMANDU: An alliance of several political parties, including the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Janamat Party, Aam Janata Party, Progressive Democratic Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, Nepal Federal Socialist Party, and Bahujan Ekta Party Nepal, is set to officially announce the formation of the Progressive Front on August 8 (Shrawan 23, 2083 BS).

The declaration ceremony will take place at Kathmandu Banquet, Thapagaun, Baneshwor, marking the formal launch of the new political alliance.
