KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has said the government had been supplying food grains regularly in remote districts.
In her address to the seventh anniversary function of the Food Management and Trade Company Limited on Thursday, Minister Yadav argued government’s efforts have ensured food sovereignty to all.
Secretary at the Ministry, Narayan Prasad Sharma Duwadi, urged the Company to resolve managerial challenges and so that it would achieve operational efficiency.
Country Director of the World Food Programme in Nepal, Riaz Lodhi, shared information on the ongoing nutritional initiatives in Nepal, which were being implemented in partnership with the government.
Acting Executive Director of the Food Management and Trade Company Limited, Dilliraj Lamsal, claimed that the Company had made significant achievements.
