KATHMANDU: Vehicular movement on different roadways including in Rasuwa district has been adversely affected by the landslides.
The Road Department informed that numerous roads in Ilam, Kavrepalanchowk, Makawanpur, Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts were obstructed.
The Tokha-Chhahare section is affected by landslide at Ghaderikhola area of Shivpuri Rural Municipality-5 in Nuwakot, while the Hetauda-Lalitpur road is blocked in the section of Thingan-Bagamati in Makawanpur due to floods and landslides.
Continuous rainfall has led to the floods and landslides, which may cause further road blockade at any moment.
Meanwhile, the police have advised travelers to check condition of roadways prior to their tripe and to maintain adequate caution in the risk zones.
