KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has announced that it has successfully concluded its district conventions in 48 districts so far.
According to party spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha, the conventions have resulted in the election of new district presidents in these regions.
The party is now intensifying preparations to complete the remaining district conventions by the end of the month of Bhadau. ‘Dates have been set to complete the conventions for most of the remaining districts by the end of Bhadau,’ Shrestha stated. In line with this schedule, the convention for Mahottari district is taking place today.
The RPP has already announced that its central general convention will be held on Dec. 12, 13, and 14 (Mangsir 26, 27, and 28).
The party stated that the timeline was established to ensure all district-level processes are finalized by the end of Bhadau to align with the central event. The party described the ongoing local and district-level conventions as encouraging.
