Rs 22 million contributed from Kapilvastu to Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund

KAPILVASTU: In a response to the recent floods, the six local levels of Kapilvastu have come together to contribute a total of Rs 22 million to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

This generous donation aims to support the families affected by the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi, Rasuwa. Many individuals have also stepped up to the supports.

Kapilvastu Municipality is contributing Rs 5.1 million, while Banganga Municipality is donating Rs 4,5 million. Buddhabhumi Municipality is giving Rs 4.3 million, Maharajganj Municipality is contributing Rs 3.7 million, and Shivraj Municipality is adding Rs 3.8 million.

Additionally, Bijaynagar Municipality has deposited one million rupees into the fund.

The funds were raised through the collective efforts of public representatives, employees, and teachers.
