KATHMANDU: Salt Trading Corporation Limited has provided assistance worth Rs 6 million for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by floods and landslides in districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading.
Urmila Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the corporation, informed that Rs 5 million was provided to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund as part of corporate social responsibility and humanitarian aid, along with an additional one million contributed through salary deductions from employees.
The corporation has stated that it is supplying essential items, including food, to disaster-affected areas.
Furthermore, while expressing solidarity with the rescue operations being conducted by the Government of Nepal during this time of disaster, it has highlighted the need for assistance regarding the relief and rehabilitation of the affected citizens.
