SUDURPASCHIM: The Sudurpaschim province government has decided to provide Rs 20 million for relief and rehabilitation of the Bhotekoshi flood victims.
Today’s meeting of the provincial council of ministers made this decision. The provincial government’s spokesperson Prakash Bahadur Rawal said that it was decided to deposit the financial assistance into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Also, the provincial government has decided to send a medical team to treat the injured and sick in the flood-affected areas. Similarly, the meeting decided to appoint Gokarna Prakash Bhatta as the vice-chair of the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission. Ganga Datta Joshi and Hira Chand were appointed as members of the commission.
