DHANGADHI: Sudurpashchim Province Chief Minister Khaga Raj Bhatta expanded his cabinet to full strength on Friday night, appointing five new members, including two state ministers.
From the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Chief Minister Bhatta appointed Om Bikram Bhatta as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure, Prakash Bahadur Rawal as the Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest, and Environment, and Khushi Ram Chaudhary as the Minister for Internal Affairs.
Additionally, Janaki Kunwar and Indira Giri from the NCP were appointed as State Ministers for Physical Infrastructure and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest, and Environment, respectively.
Prior to this expansion, Chief Minister Bhatta had inducted four ministers, including one state minister, from the CPN (UML).
With the latest appointments, the Sudurpashchim Provincial Government now comprises 10 members in total: the Chief Minister, six full ministers, and three state ministers.
The newly appointed ministers and state ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Province Head on Friday night.
