KATHMANDU: Patients and their relatives staged a brief protest at the Civil Service Hospital on Monday morning after a system outage delayed ticket issuance for medical services.

According to witnesses, people who had been queuing since 4:00 a.m. became frustrated when ticket distribution, which normally begins at 7:00 a.m., failed to start due to technical problems.

Damodar Mainali from Nijgadh, Bara, said those waiting in line chanted slogans for a short time over the delay.

The hospital administration said it was working to resolve the system failure and restore normal ticketing services as soon as possible.
