TANAHUN: A total of 670 new business firms and enterprises were registered in Tanahun district in the last fiscal year.
According to Integrated Service Office, 243 enterprises and 327 business firms were registered in the fiscal year 2025/26.
The district witnessed a surge in new business firms and enterprises last year compared to the previous fiscal year. A total of 94 more new business firms and enterprises were registered in 2025/26 BS than in 2024/25.
The newly-registered businesses and enterprises are from the trading, production and service sectors, said Office Chief Ishwari Prasad Regmi.
Likewise, registration of 484 businesses was scrapped in the last fiscal. The Office has so far renewed 3,477 industries and business firms in the district.
