KATHMANDU: The teaser of the upcoming Nepali film Ba: Ek Yoddha has been released ahead of its theatrical premiere on September 4 (Bhadra 19).

Released on Friday through production house Artistic Entertainment’s official YouTube channel, the teaser offers a glimpse into the film’s emotional storyline, centering on a father’s relentless struggle to protect his family.

Running for more than a minute, the teaser portrays the sudden tragedy that shatters an otherwise happy family. While the exact cause of the crisis remains undisclosed, it suggests that an unexpected turn of events transforms their lives, offering audiences a preview of the film’s emotionally driven family drama.

Written and directed by music composer Hari Lamsal, the film stars Divya Dev, Jharana Thapa, Suhana Thapa, Sagar Khanal, Supragya Sharma, Shishir Siwakoti, Shavi Thapa, Anil Budhathoki, and Mao Tse Gurung, among others.

The film is produced by Basant Lamsal, who previously produced the film Karma. Cinematography is by Shivaram Shrestha, while Taranath Neupane serves as the chief assistant director.

Kuber Cine Distribution, led by Ashish H. Tamang and Pradeep Dhami, will distribute the film.

According to the filmmakers, Ba: Ek Yoddha is a heartfelt family drama that explores the sacrifices, struggles, and lifelong challenges fathers endure to secure a better future for their children in Nepali society.
