KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three people after recovering an old pistol and a magazine during a patrol in Siraha’s Lahan Municipality.

According to police, a patrol team from Sitapur Police Post stopped and searched Sabarjit Das in Salokhari, Ward No. 22 of Lahan Municipality on suspicion and recovered an old pistol along with what appeared to be a 9mm magazine from his possession.

Police later arrested two other suspects, Gurudev Das and Sanjay Das, for their alleged involvement in the case. The Lahan Area Police Office said further investigation is underway.
